About Heather

Heather Irving, NP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Chestnut Wellness in Arkansas City, Kansas. Heather was raised in Arkansas City and has made her home there with her husband, John, and four children, Eli, Ayden, Isabelle, and Theo.

In 2004, Heather graduated from ACHS. She then attended Cowley County Community College in Arkansas City before graduating with her bachelor's degree in science from Wichita State University in Kansas. Heather then furthered her education, obtaining her Master of Science. 

Before working in Arkansas City as a nurse practitioner, Heather worked at Wesley Medical Center in the pediatric intensive care and the pediatric sedation units. She has also worked at Grace Med, a clinic that services underinsured and uninsured populations in Wichita. Later, Heather began her family practice at ABC Medical and then moved to Winfield Medical Arts in Kansas. 

Heather looks forward to joining Chestnut Wellness as she believes everyone deserves to be listened to and their health is a team effort.

At Chestnut Wellness, Heather and the team strive to create an environment to treat the person as a whole, not just each disease or illness.
